In unused, mint condition, this pen and pencil set comes with its original box and price stickers. Wavy lines decorate the gold-fill caps that contrast nicely with the blue barrels. The pencil is loaded with it's original lead. The two-tone, 14K nib has a fine point. We've polished off tarnish and old lubricant, replaced the O-ring and given the pen a fresh lube job. It's ready to write and in perfect working order. Pen measures 11.7 cm, and the pencil measures 10 cm. It has it's original 14K nib and feed that lay down a fine line. The clip is uniquely straight, showing minor brassing on the ball. The filling mechanism has been refurbished with a new sac and is ready for many more years worth of service. 11.5cm Vintage Pens: 0021 Sheaffer Lifetime Balance Era: 1930-1939 Price: $139.00 View Large Image Sleek and slender, this Sheaffer Lifetime Balance is the quintessential classic black fountain pen. The pen is fully restored and has a two-tone 14K nib that writes a fine-medium line. No significant wear, just a little faded spot on the lever. 13.5cm Vintage Pens: 0013 Sheaffer Lifetime Triumph Price: $99.00 View Large Image A daily user, this unrestored pen (c. 1942) is still in working order. The 2-tone, 14K nib writes a fine line and seeps a little if touched where the nib meets the body. The body's color shifts with the light between grey and sea-green. The body itself has a sharp imprint and no major wear. Yet the nickel-plated trim on the cap shows scratching and brassing. It is a nice pen, but we wanted the buyer to be fully aware of its condition to the best of our knowledge. 13 cm capped. Vintage Pens: 0012 Sheaffer Lifetime Valiant Era: 1950-1959 Price: $159.00 View Large Image In near mint condition, this pen would be perfect except for a 4mm-long nick across the back of the Touchdown filler. Crisp imprint. The 2-tone, 14K nib writes a smooth fine line. Inside, the sac and O-ring have been replaced. The tube covering the sac (not the pneumatic filling mechanism) has some rust, which has been treated and shouldn't pose any problem. 13.2 cm capped. Vintage Pens: 0009 Sheaffer Lifetime Era: 1920-1929 Price: $269.00 View Large Image This full-size green "Flattop" is in remarkable condition. No brassing, cracks or chips. It has a perfect imprint. There are a few very minor surface scratches, and the discoloration is obvious in the photo. The pocket clip is unusually straight, without the signature curve familiar to most Sheaffers of this era. The 14K, fine-medium nib and ink feed are original. A small "c" imprint in the flat tail of the barrel indicates that this was made between 1924 and 1926. "A.A. Brager" was engraved below the lever filler. The pen is fully restored. 13.3 cm capped. Vintage Pens: 0002 Sheaffer Lifetime Touchdown Price: $79.00 View Large Image This burgundy Sheaffer was a daily user, but lightly used. There are few scratches, a half-dozen or so bite marks on the back of the filling mechanism and a few little dings on the top of the cap. The imprint is perfect, and the filler works smoothly--no need for replacement. The 14K, 2-tone nib writes a thick, wet line. 13.1 cm capped.
