A double rarity, this vintage Waterman 412 comes with a broad 14k gold nib! The pen is encased in a sterling silver filigree. There are no initials or engravings in the silver, other than the artistic ones. The details of the filigree engravings are a little worn or faded in places. The cap has a few small dents near the top but is in very good condition. The silver filigree on the barrel has no dents or dings. The silver filigree on the barrel has an imprint ringing the top and bottom. The top reads "Waterman's Ideal Fountain Pen" and the bottom reads "Sterling". The strong tail imprint on hard rubber is "412". There is some chocolating or hazing of the hard rubber, especially under the filigree. The inkfeed and nib are original. It is an eyedropper, and there are no cracks in the barrel or section. This Waterman eyedropper measures 13.5cm capped.
