Esterbrook pens taught the Baby Boomers how to write using an ink pen. Frequently required in high schools, secretarial schools and journalism schools across the nation, Esterbrooks were affordable and easily customized with simple, replaceable nibs. We restored this Esterbrook J-model pen with a brand new ink sac, and it should be ready for many years with of high-quality service. J-models were the widest pens that Esterbrook made, which helps if your hands cramp easily or you have arthritis. There is some light surface wear, but there are no cracks or deep scratches. Both black plastic "jewels" are in tact. The clip is on tight. The steel 9668 nib was advertised as an upgrade for "general writing" and it writes a wet, medium line smoothly with only a hint of feedback. 12.8cm capped.
