Vintage Pens: Sheaffer Lifetime Rose Glow
Vintage Pens: 2049 Sheaffer Lifetime Rose Glow
One of the rarer colors among Sheaffer pens of the 1930s is called Rose Glow. Unlike a slightly more common but still rare Carmine (red), the Rose Glow is a straited burgundy, pink and grey combination! This junior-size Lifetime Sheaffer is dazzling enough to shine through some obvious scratches and wear when you look close. However, we've polished it to a glossy sheen that hides the blemishes from casual observations. The only thing we couldn't hide was the deeply imprinted "Maida B. Franke." No cracks, minimal brassing. Fully restored with a new ink sac. The original two-tone 14k gold nib writes an extra-fine line with feedback. It isn't so scratchy that you can't write, but you will notice it. Some people love it, others hate it. 12.2cm capped.
