Vintage Pens: Waterman Taperite
Vintage Pens: 2091 Waterman Taperite
Waterman Taperite fountain pens were popular during World War II. This one is distinctly of the war in its olive drab section and barrel, sporting a star under the clip. We replaced the ink sac with a new one. The pen is in good working order, but the cap and barrel have light scratches. The hooded section features the most wear with many scratches from the metal grip of the inner cap. The 14k gold nib writes a fine line. 13.5cm capped.
