Vintage Pens: Esterbrook Transition 1555 Gregg
Vintage Pens: 2230 Esterbrook Transition 1555 Gregg
We remark time and again how Esterbrook pens often were the go-to pen of shorthand and secretarial schools. This 1940s' Esterbrook Transition pen is elegant proof. The steel nib was made to the specifications of the Gregg School of handwriting and shorthand. Transition pens showcased the new cap design of the J-series pens to come, while maintaining the flat-tailed, wide-bodied barrel design of the Esterbrook Dollar Pens. This is a fully restored and stunning specimen in pearl grey. Minimal wear and a strong imprint. New ink sac. The nib writes an exceptionally smooth, wet fine-medium line. 12.5cm capped.
