Vintage Pens: Wearever 100
Vintage Pens: 2269 Wearever 100
Imitation is the highest form of flattery...if that makes the Parker Toothbrush designs feel any better. This surprisingly handsome Wearever 100 clearly is "sampling" (as kids say today) the design beauty of Parker. Nevertheless, it is still very attractive and in great condition, except for the fact it is missing its cap ring. We restored it with a new ink sac, and its golden alloy nib writes a reasonably nice fine line. Wearever 100s were the top of the company's line, and they were called the 100 because they cost one whole dollar when they were first sold. No cracks, light wear, strong imprint. 13.3cm capped.
