Vintage Pens: Parker Duofold
Vintage Pens: 2349 Parker Duofold
Parker needed a high-end pen to play second fiddle to their flagship Vacumatics. Thus, a second generation of Parker Duofolds was born. We restored this vintage pen by installing a new diaphragm and straightening the 14k gold nib. Now it is in good working order and writing a nice fine line. There is heavy brassing on the clip and cap bands, but there are no cracks. Moderate wear is featured on the cap and barrel. In spite of cosmetic flaws, it is still a reliable writer in need of a good home. The imprint is fairly well faded, but we think this is a 1941 model. Really good barrel clarity.
