Vintage Pens: Sheaffer Lady Skripsert
Vintage Pens: 2574 Sheaffer Lady Skripsert
Sheaffer unleashed its plastic cartridge line of pens just a year or two before these Sheaffer Lady Skripsert pens were released in 1959. Golden pinstripes on black look exquisite on this elegant vintage pen. Its palladium Triumph nib writes a nice fine line. We left an empty Sheaffer cartridge inside the pen, after giving the nib assembly a sonic cleaning. Some of these Lady Skripserts only take a cartridge that is slightly skinnier than the ones being made today. We aren't sure if this is the skinny or standard size cartridge, but you can refill it from a syringe, in the event it is a skinny cartridge. Minimal wear on the pen. 13.6cm capped.
