Rare pen hounds will relish this Chicago-based Diamond Medal fountain pen in near mint condition. Aside from discoloration, this pen has minimal surface wear and no brassing. The filling system has been fully restored with a new ink sac. The barrel features a strong imprint, and the cap is inscribed with "L.S. Merrill." The 14k fine-medium nib and inkfeed are original. 13.7 cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 0065 Dunn Pen Camel
Filling Mechanism: Pump
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $299.99
Vintage Pens: 0065: Dunn Pen: Camel
Check out this remarkable Dunn Pen from New York. It is a full-size/oversize fountain pen that used an early pump-style filling mechanism. Although this mechanism is UNRESTORED, it has a fluid and well lubricated motion and should be in excellent condition for a more experienced repair shop to fix. The 14k fine-point nib has a little flex and is not marked gold, but that wasn't uncommon in during the time. The nib and inkfeed appear to be original. The pen body is in excellent condition, aside from some light surface wear. The red plunger in back is fine, but the threads in the tail are missing in places, but enough threading remains to close it. This vintage pen measures 14 cm when capped.

Vintage Pens: 0148 Eclipse (?) Unknown
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $79.99
Vintage Pens: 0148: Eclipse (?): Unknown
This slender orange fountain pen lacks any identifying markings on the pen except for a small wreath on the filling lever, which leads us to suspect this might be an Eclipse pen. The nib is a 14K Warranted. The pen has been fully restored and is in near mint condition. The nib has a medium point and is flexible. It takes a little pressure to write with it, but the flex offers a lot of great possibilities. 13.6cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 0149 E. Faber Permapoint
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $99.99
SOLD!
Vintage Pens: 0149: E. Faber: Permapoint
When you look this green alligator-scale fountain-pen-and-pencil set in person, you will almost be shocked that the bodies of the writing instruments are smooth with no texture. The vintage pen has been restored, and the pencil is in working. The lead extends through a twist of the cone near the grip of the pencil. The gold plate is mostly missing, especially on the nib, which is a medium writer with a mild scratch. The pen is marked: “Permapoint” Eberhard Faber, U.S.A. 13cm capped.

Modern Pens: 0154 Levenger Argento
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $149.99
Modern Pens: 0154: Levenger: Argento
Flecks of blue irradiate from the handsome blue and black cap and barrel of this Italian-made rollerball pen. Levenger’s Argento is a modern classic and uses a fairly standard rollerball refill. The clip and cap rings appear to be silver, but we haven’t been able to confirm that. The pen appears to be numbered under its central imprint: 0328. The only blemish on the pen is a nick in the “A” of Argento. It comes with an empty refill to help i.d. the refills it needs. 14.3 capped.

Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter

Vintage Pens: 0114 Magicolor Multi-Pencil
Filling Mechanism: Pencil Leads
Era: 1960-1979
Price: $49.99
Vintage Pens: 0114: Magicolor: Multi-Pencil
We don't often feature pencils on this site, but this one caught our attention. It is a seemingly early multi-color lead pencil. Rotate the knob in the back, and you can select one of four options. The option shows in the window below the clip. Green currently shows in the photo but a standard pencil lead is in that position. The pencil has a nice weight. It is unrestored, but 3 of the options are loaded with leads that move up and down. Measures 13.4cm.

Modern Pens: : Krone: Amelia Earhart Fountain Pen #31
This spectacular writing instrument is comprised of unique, elegant, three-dimensional slate blue and black herringbone celluloid. Crowning the cap is a .925 sterling silver coin, simulating the nose of one of her aircraft. In the center of the coin is a piece of fabric from Amelia Earhart’s actual Lockheed Vega 5B wing. The clip is .925 sterling silver and is as streamlined as the wings of her planes. Around the center of the barrel is a .925 sterling silver band with her signature deeply engraved. The sterling silver blind cap has one of her most famous quotes encircling it, which reads, “Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace.” A Limited Edition pen #31 of 388 sterling Fountain Pens.
