Pre-Owned Pens: 1544: Aurora: Asia Limited Edition
Aurora began paying tribute to the 7 continents of earth, and settled on this beautiful jade and brown/bronze design for Asia. Our numbered limited edition Aurora Asia fountain pen and ballpoint pen set was used but features minimal wear. The set even comes with a mostly full bottle of Aurora black ink. An original box does show some wear on the outer leather and some small stains on the inner linings. Filling the fountain pen is smooth and easy with a twist of the tail, which activates the piston. Its 18k gold nib writes a smooth fine, even if it is marked medium. We love the real jade topper on the cap.

Era: 1980-present
Price: $75.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 1881: Pelikan: 200
If ever there was a pen that was a true mensch, it would have to be the Pelikan 200. Inexpensive, light weight, goes anywhere and it is always a dependable and smooth writer. Okay, so it doesn't have a gold nib like its same-sized brother, the 400. Who cares. A great writer is a great writer. Our Pelikan 200 is in good working order. The piston works well, and the gold-alloy nib writes a very smooth medium. The cap is marked "W. Germany." It and the barrel have some wear, but there are no cracks. The cap topper has 2 pelican chicks with the mama, and the etching is filled with a golden color. We have been filling and refilling it with water to clear out some old red ink. We might not get it all. Otherwise, a perfect daily user. 12.6cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 1876: Pelikan: 620 Piazza Navona
About a decade ago, the legendary Pelikan pen company began paying homage to the great cities of the world. This Pelikan 620 Piazza Navon celebrates Rome. It is an extremely handsome pen with very little damage or wear. The piston filler tests well and is in good working order. We're particularly fond of the broad nib that has a slighly italic cursive flair to its writing. Unfortunately, we do not have the original box or papers. 13.3cm capped.

This one is in great working order with some light surface wear from use. It holds a ton of ink, and its viewing window is pretty clean. The heart and soul of any pen is its nib. The two-tone 18k gold nib here is a luscious broad that writes like a gentle cursive italic. Click the headline font to see lots of light surface scratching on top of the nib and some corrosion on the first metal band on the section. Complete with slightly worn box. 14.5cm capped.

Its sterling silver barrel depicts Mandela's rural birth in 1918. Hand-enamelled, it showcases the colors and beauty of Africa. Repurposing Sheaffer's vacuum piston filler from the 1940s, Visconti calls it their "Power Filler," Visconti celebrated its 10th anniversary with this special demonstrator Voyager. Ours comes complete with its original box and papers. The filling system is working well and holds a ton of ink. The two-tone 18k gold nib writes a very nice, smooth medium line that is fairly wet. The cap and barrel have almost no wear, but you can see a little bit of staining under the inner cap. The barrel also has a little bit of clouding in the ink reservoir. The sterling silver cap bands look perfect. Incredible pen. 14.2cm capped.
