Pre-Owned Pens: 1931: Mont Blanc: Doue Black & Steel
Mont Blanc got creative with their standard solitaire classique designs in the late 1990s and early 2000s with new caps made of different materials. The name of these Mont Blancs changed from solitaire to Doue. This Mont Blanc Doue includes the original black resin pen with a polished steel cap and trim. It has very light wear. The clip is engraved with the name James Kittle. It has a working refill, but we have no idea how much ink is left. 13.6cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 1905: Monte Verde: Practica
Who says quality pens always have to be serious affairs. The Monte Verde Practica is a great capless rollerball pen with a very attractive black-veined orange pattern. In like-new condition, there are only a couple tiny blemishes. The capless rollerball is activated by a click of the tail. It needs a new refill. It comes with its box. A great go-to daily driver. (The nose cone screws on and off to refill the pen. The threads are tight, and you'll need a rubber coated gripper to help unscrew it.) 14cm.

Pre-Owned Pens: 1781: Bombay Company: Pen Set
Do you remember the 1990s and these things called shopping malls? Pretty cool, right? We loved them...and a store called The Bombay Company. It was really popular for several years and then disappeared. They sold upper-middle class furniture and curios for your home decor with an theme that blended a very stylized India and museum gift shop. This is a New Old Stock rollerball pen and pencil set from that great store. Complete in their original boxes and cellophane, these metal writing instruments are many sided and in perfect working order. We include a free refill for the pen, and the pencil includes .7mm leads! The color is a cross between a silver pearl and champagne gold, which was super popular in the '90s.

Swirling about the cap and barrel are the green, yellow, orange and brown colors of the Parker Insignia Bronze. It is fun to get lost in their glittering designs. A very nice rollerball pen, it has enough heft with its metal cap and barrel that it glides along nicely. There is only light wear on this pen at the worst. We have fitted it with a brand new ink refill. 13.2cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 1651 Pelikan 800 Souveran
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1651: Pelikan: 800 Souveran
Stately and a little more colorful than its German rivals, this green Pelikan 800 Souveran rollerball pen is the ideal modern luxury pen for daily use. Big and easy to grip for those with large hands or who have hands that cramp easily while writing, this pen is impressive in the boardroom and while closing big deals. The rollerball action is very smooth. You refill these by unscrewing the blind cap in the back of the pen. This pen has some wear from use, but nobody will notice unless they inspect it one or two feet from their face. The cap band is marked W. Germany, which likely means it is from the 1980s. The end caps have little flat golden discs. The logo on the cap is a grey on gold background mama and 2 baby pelicans. 14cm capped.
