Vintage Pens: 0100 Conklin Crescent
Filling Mechanism: Crescent Filler
Era: 1900-1909
Price: $299.99  Was: $399.99
Vintage Pens: 0100: Conklin: Crescent
Feast your eyes on a rare gold-filled Conklin Crescent. Fully restored, this vintage pen was clearly a daily user, as you can see chips missing in the gold fill. There also are some scratches and dents, but it still looks pretty nice when capped on display. No structural damage. Original nib and feed. No engravings. The #2 nib writes writes a fine-medium line with an odd combination of stiffness and flex. A small piece of black rubber placed to the right of the crescent was used to keep the pen from rolling over in the photo. 13.1cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 0231 Parker Insignia
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $29.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 0231: Parker: Insignia
Parker's ballpoint Insignia pen is especially handsome in the color Parker calls "Green Bronze." It is a slender, smooth writing ballpoint pen. The ink refill writes in black ink and extends from the body with a twist of the backcap. It was gently used, in near perfect condition and comes with its original box and papers. 13.2cm.

Vintage Pens: 0099 Conklin Crescent
Filling Mechanism: Crescent Filler
Era: 1910-1919
Price: $129.99  Was: $199.99
Vintage Pens: 0099: Conklin: Crescent
If Mark Twain approved of them, they had to be good. It might not be the largest vintage Conklin Crescent we've seen, but it measures 13.8cm or nearly 5 1/2 inches when capped. A near daily user, the chasing in the hard rubber is worn, as are some of the imprints. We use question marks to fill in the gaps of the following: "Conklin Crescent-Filler / Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A. / Pat. M?.91-Oct?9:01.Dec.1'03 / Trade ? Mark 30" and there appears to be an "E" imprinted vertically under the horizontally written "Trade" There is one small crack on each side of the section where the nib enters. The barrel is cracked at the threads. You can see a small crack in the bottom side of the gold nib on the secondary photo. It is just sprouting out from under the section. The #3 nib writes a nice fine-medium line with a little flex. A new ink sac has been installed. The aftermarket clip has a faint imprint remaining: "Modern / B Pat / 5.25.09 / 6.22.09".

Pre-Owned Pens: 0225 Cross ATX
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $39.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 0225: Cross: ATX
Cross made a lovely rollerball pen out of this seemingly brand new ATX. Is that what they call a rose gold finish? Regardless, it is a nicely weighted pen in immaculate condition. It comes with its original box and warranty. The refill seems to be drying out, but it is otherwise perfect. 14cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 0034 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Button Filler
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $499.99
Vintage Pens: 0034: Parker: Duofold
We think this is quite possibly one of the prototypes for the Parker Duofold Jr. desk pen made c. 1925 or '26. We cannot guarantee it, but the aluminum swivel holder is the main clue, as Parker never mass produced it. It is not marked, and it was most likely custom machined. The hard rubber version of it went into production in 1926. The hard-rubber Parker Duofold Jr. desk pen is in great condition. The imprint is practically perfect, except for fading out on the very far right side. The ink feed is a "Christmas Tree." The 14k nib writes a fine-medium line. The tail is in perfect condition, and there is no brassing on its gold ring. The gold button shows no brassing. The pen base has no chips or cracks that we can see. The felt on the bottom was replaced. The pen holder is a chocolatey brown but in good working order. The spring underneath it still pushes back. This pen has been fully restored and works wonderfully. The pen measures 19cm, and the base measures 15cm X 9cm X 2cm.

Vintage Pens: 0095 Parker 51
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $149.99  Was: $169.99
Vintage Pens: 0095: Parker: 51
Double your pen-collecting pleasure with this silver-capped black Parker 51 pen and pencil set from 1944! The vintage pen has been fully restored with a new diaphragm; the pencil is inopperable as far as we can tell. Each vintage writing instrument is engraved "George S. Flaherty." The 14K nib writes a smooth medium to medium-broad line. The Vacumatic pump is clear yellow plastic. The blind cap closes flush. There is surface wear from daily use, and the imprint is feint. The sterling silver cap on the Parker 51 has had its dents treated, but there is still a little surface wear. The blue diamond clip is on tight and doesn't spin. 13.8 cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 0181 Conklin Symetrik
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $59.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 0181: Conklin: Symetrik
The allure of Conklin's Symetrik is undeniable. Its rare purple finish and sliver-colored trim are unmistakeable. It is also a smooth writer that uses the long-barrel, flat-tailed rollerball cartridges marked 404. This brand new Symetrik comes with an empty cartridge that dried out from lack of use. It also comes in its original box. 14.1cm capped.
