$125.00The legendary Sailor Zoom Nib is on this petite-sized Sailor 1911 fountain pen. It is a beautiful pre-owned pen with minimal wear. Also included is a Sailor box, but we don't know if it is the original box. These items were found separately. Made of 14k gold, the Zoom nib allows a writer to enjoy a broad, medium and fine line. We find that holding the pen at a 45-degree angle gets us a very smooth broad line. Hold it more perpendicular to the paper and it delivers a slightly rougher feeling medium. Turn it over to write with the "top" of the nib for an extra-fine to fine line that we feel is a little scratchy. Also included is a converter. 13.6cm capped.

$199.99Fans of Sailor pens know that ZOOM nibs are a special treat, and we are happy to report that this standard-size Sailor 1911 has a Zoom nib! For the uninitiated, the Zoom nib is a 14k gold broad nib. In the world of Japanese nibs, it might be considered a double or triple broad. For American and European nib enthusiasts, we dipped it and it looks mostly like a regular broad nib. Regardless, aside from a scuff on the pocket clip, this pen looks like new. It also comes complete with its original boxes and converter. 13.6cm capped.

$149.99Quite possibly the best daily driver fountain pens out of Japan, the Sailor 1911 is a must have for most all fountain pen enthusiasts. Also extremely popular are the demonstrator model. This green Sailor 1911 demonstrator looks about as close to new as a pre-owned pen can look. Best of all, it comes with its original boxes and a leather carrying pouch! Click the headline to see the close-up of the nib. It is marked H-M. This means it is a "hard" (firm) medium writer. It is a Japanese medium, which means it is closer to a European or American fine. We also find it to be a dry writer that sounds and feels a little scratchy as it writes. 13.5cm capped.
