Pencil: 4834 Sheaffer Imperial
Era: 1960-1979
Price: $75.00
Pencil: 4834: Sheaffer: Imperial
We love the diamond pattern in the solid sterling silver Sheaffer Imperial pencil. It is in great working order. Twist the tail cap to extend and retract the .9mm lead. No dents but a little tarnish. You'll find the clip has the initials "S.R.M." A hardened eraser and spare lead are under the cap. 12.6cm.
Pencil: 4831 Sheaffer Titan
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $69.99
Pencil: 4831: Sheaffer: Titan
Sheaffer Titan pencils were the oversized models. This is a black-and-pearl model that is still showing good color. It works well advancing and retracting the 1.1mm lead. All it takes is a twist of the gold-plated tail cap. Unfortunately, somebody dropped this one years ago. One side of the tail piece is scrunched down a little in a few places. There's a little ding in the nose cone. You also can't miss the engraved name of "E.W. Miller." Spare leads are found under the tail cap. Nevertheless, it still works and writes great! 13.5cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4813 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Button Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $999.99
Vintage Pens: 4813: Parker: Duofold
Senior-sized Parker Duofolds with a wide cap band, such as this one, don't come along every day. In fact, they might only come along once or twice a lifetime, if you're lucky. We have one such beauty right here, and it has no cracks under the cap band. It is gorgeous with a deep Lucky Curve imprint, too! Fully restored with a new ink sac, its only flaw appears to be a thin sliver of brassing on the cap band. Click the headline for a close-up. This is a permanite model not the red hard rubber. Still, it is a great treat. There's a "Christmas tree" inkfeed and a 14k gold nib. You'll write a very nice medium line. Fairly crisp milling on the end caps, too! 13.9cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4796 Parker Counter Display Case
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $649.99  Was: $749.99
Vintage Pens: 4796: Parker: Counter Display Case
Decorate your home or business with an authentic Parker Pen Display counter. We believe it is roughly 100 years old. It is normal counter height at maybe around 4 feet tall. We are helping a friend in the Chicago suburbs sell this case. As it is so large, you really need to be able to pick it up in person or arrange for a moving company to get it. It is heavy, made of wood and glass. Behind the cabinet is a drawer for ink and other accessories. None of the contents in or on the case are included with the sale price. If you are interested in the case, please contact so we can make arrangements. As for the dimensions, we weren't smart enough to get the complete measurements. It is about 4 feet tall and about 2.5 feet wide and maybe about 2.5 to 3 feet deep. It is in excellent condition for its age, but it likely isn't without a blemish or two after 100 years. The owner of this case would prefer $949.99, but he will entertain offers.
Vintage Pens: 4534 Parker VP
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1960-1979   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $199.99
Vintage Pens: 4534: Parker: VP
Parker VP meant Very Personal. The revolutionary developments for this pen included an ergonomic grip for the fountain pen and a nib and feed that could be rotated to better accommodate for the grip and getting the nib to write from any angle. These are rarer pens, as they only made VPs for a couple years. It led to the monumental success of the Parker 75. This teal colored vintage pen has a major problem in its barrel. Click the headline for a close-up to see the 1.5cm crack in the barrel where it threads into the section. Basically, the crack is bad and makes the pen unstable to write with...without making the crack worse. This is a shame, as the aerometric filler unit is in great condition. In most VPs, this is the rare part that is whole. Its 14k gold nib writes a very smooth broad line. 13.8cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4533 Parker VP
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1960-1979   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $299.99
Vintage Pens: 4533: Parker: VP
Parker VP pens heralded many great innovations in their short production run. Without these pens, the Parker 75 would never have been the mega hit it became. Our favorite innovation is the adjustable nib. You can carefully pinch the nib and turn it to the left or right to better suit how your hand grips its ergonomic section. Click the headline for close-ups of the pen and nib. Our vintage pen is in good working order. It comes with an original aerometric filler with the see-though window. Many of these are broken in other pens, but our's is still intact! There are no cracks in the cap or barrel, just some light to moderate wear from use. The only dent is under the arrow clip. Its 14k gold nib writes a fine line with a little feedback. 13.7cm capped.
Pencil: 4769 Parker 51 Demi
Era: 1950-1959
Price: $59.99
Pencil: 4769: Parker: 51 Demi
You might think this Parker 51 Demi pencil looks black in the photo, but it is really a deep burgundy. It is difficult to see the difference until you set it next to a black pen or pencil. It has an early click-cap lead advance and comes loaded with a .9mm lead. The barrel is nice and clean, but the gold-filled cap has little specks in it that we couldn't quite polish out. An original, mostly hardened, eraser is under the tail cap. 12cm.
Pencil: 4737 Parker 21
Era: 1960-1979
Price: $19.99
Pencil: 4737: Parker: 21
The greener side of teal looks fantastic on this Parker 21 pencil. It is New Old Stock with its original price sticker. Unfortunately, NOS doesn't mean it is flawless. There is a visible scratch on the steel cap in the photo. The base model for the Parker 21, this vintage pencil is in great working order. Its .9mm lead advances and retracts with a smooth twist of the tail cap. Under the tail cap is a perfect, hardened eraser and under it are spare leads. 12.6cm.
