Pre-Owned Pens: 2002: Pelikan: Evolution of Script
With advantages such as opposable thumbs and large brains, humans soon found ways to communicate through symbols and language. Pelikan pays tribute to the Evolution of Script with this beautiful 800-size limited edition fountain pen. On its black cap are depictions of cave drawings. On its gold decorated barrel are ancient Egyptian, Cuneiform and early Greek writing. Click the headline for a close up of the Old English "S" for "Script" on the 18kt gold medium nib. This pen is mint, unused and complete with its booklets and many layers of boxes. The outermost boxes show small traces of wear, but the inner most box is perfect. Only 930 made.

Vintage Pens: 1981: Pelikan: 100
Vintage Pelikan lovers, your prayers have been answered. Here is a practically mint condition Pelikan 100 from 1932! We are selling it on behalf of a friend who loves and restores Pelikans with the best of them. There are no cracks but a couple little marks from age and use. The ebonite cap topper has a few little wavy spots in the Pelikan imprint just above the clip ring. BUT, the logo on top still has most of its green dye filling! Carefully hidden under the clip is the engraved name of "G. Engstrom." The 14k gold nib is a slightly oblique, italic medium...with FLEX. Not a lot of flex, but enough. It is an incredible nib, as if you don't find the rest of the pen impressive enough. 11.5cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 1651 Pelikan 800 Souveran
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1651: Pelikan: 800 Souveran
Stately and a little more colorful than its German rivals, this green Pelikan 800 Souveran rollerball pen is the ideal modern luxury pen for daily use. Big and easy to grip for those with large hands or who have hands that cramp easily while writing, this pen is impressive in the boardroom and while closing big deals. The rollerball action is very smooth. You refill these by unscrewing the blind cap in the back of the pen. This pen has some wear from use, but nobody will notice unless they inspect it one or two feet from their face. The cap band is marked W. Germany, which likely means it is from the 1980s. The end caps have little flat golden discs. The logo on the cap is a grey on gold background mama and 2 baby pelicans. 14cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 1659: Pelikan: 100-level
Pelikan pens are as true as they get these days. This is a Pelikan 100 trim line, but we aren't specifically sure what its model number is. The cap and barrel have scuffs and wear but no cracks. The filler is well lubed and working very smoothly. The platting is coming off the steel nib, which writes a buttery smooth fine line. The top of the cap has the logo in gold with two baby pelicans. In addition to the pen, you a very nice leather case for the pen. The case is decorated with a flowered bit of embroidery. You can see in the photo that the stitching is missing at the far left side. 11.8cm capped.
