Vintage Pens: Parker 51
Vintage Pens: 1262 Parker 51
Few 1940s pens are coveted as much as the double-jewel Parker 51. We up the wow factor on our vintage pen by including a rare wavy-line gold-fill cap! The vacumatic filling unit has been restored with a new diaphragm. The 1948 imprint is strong on the barrel. The hood and blind cap are definitely a shade or two lighter than the barrel. Click the headline font and you can see two dents in the 14k gold fill cap. The cap has minimal scratching or other wear. The 14k gold nib writes a stiff fine line. We loosened it up and got it flowing more smoothly, but it would benefit from more regular use with a little tine loosening help from time to time. 13.7cm capped.
