Love barely scratches the surface of our feelings for this classic Parker 51. While most engravings look rather lame, this "Olive Crooks" really stands out as a very specially engraved design. Click the headline for a better close-up. We have no idea who she was. We just love the engraving. PLUS: This is a rarer amber jeweled Parker 51 1/10th 16k gold-filled cap, with the lifetime blue diamond on the clip. We restored the Vacumatic filler with a new diaphragm. No date code on the barrel, but it looks more like "teal blue" than "cedar blue," which would make it 1948. The 14k gold nib writes an extra-fine line. About 99% of extra-fine nibs feel a little scratchy to us, and this is no different. Light wear and scratching on the body. No cracks. Cap has a few little dimples but not deep dents. 14.4cm capped.
