Vintage Pens: Parker 75
Vintage Pens: 2621 Parker 75
Bonjour. Our late model Parker 75 was likely among the last made, as it is a French model in sterling silver with all of the French purity hallmarks. It also has a plastic threaded section and circular grip, instead of the more triangular grip of most 75's. The stacked-plate end caps are like dishes with an intentional indentation in the centers. Click the headline for photos and close-ups. Look closely and you can see some strange deterioration of the finish on the front flat space of the cap lip. You can't see it, but you can feel a very slight flat spot on the barrel of the pen. The rest of the pen is in great condition. Its 14k gold nib is marked medium, but it writes more like a slightly reedy fine. The cap clicks on tightly. 12.8cm capped.
