Vintage Pens: Gold Bond Fountain Pen
Vintage Pens: 3104 Gold Bond Fountain Pen
Drifting up through the slate grey cap and barrel of this vintage pen are shafts of light-grey hidden until they are hit by light. It is a stunning late entry from the Gold Bond pen makers. Our pen also is distinguished by four rings that look almost like the window pane design on a suit coat. Fully restored, this pen has a fresh ink sac and a brilliantly clear ink view window. No cracks or brassing, but you can see some wear on the cap more than the barrel. Luckily, nobody will see the wear unless they are scrutinizing the cap very close up. Its 14k gold nib writes a nice extra-fine to fine line. Click the headline for a great close-up. 13.1cm capped.
