Vintage Pens: Penol De Luxe
Vintage Pens: 3165 Penol De Luxe
Are you familiar with the Penol story? It is one of our favorites in fountain pen history. Penol was a Danish pen company. Its owner originally imported Parker pens for sale and distribution in Europe. Yet, once he figured out the pen market and learned about manufacturing, he recreated all of Parker's best designs and started his one company called Penol! It was a huge success, but the Nazi occupation permanently crippled the company. These pens are tough to find in the U.S. and are coveted by those who know. Our vintage pen has been fully restored with a new ink sac. We aren't sure if it is a 14k gold nib or a gold-plated nib. Click the headline for a close-up. Either way, it has a rare original nib that is OBLIQUE with FLEX! No cracks. Brassing and light wear. 12cm capped.
