Vintage Pens: Parker Duofold Toothbrush
Vintage Pens: 3695 Parker Duofold Toothbrush
Of all the crazy designs on fountain pens, the sheer oddness of the Parker Duofold "Toothbrush" pen makes it one of our favorites. Technically, it is called the Parker Duofold Geometric, but most vintage pen fans simply refer to them as Parker Toothbrushes. We restored this classic toothbrush pen with a new ink sac. It is the largest model in the Toothbrush Duofold line, but it is more of a standard size...not oversized. The green of the cap and barrel has discolored a little with age. It was made in 1939, after all. Click the headline to see a close-up of the original 14k gold nib. It writes a really juicy, wet broad line fairly smoothly with a little flex! 12.9cm capped.
