Vintage Pens: Parker Duofold
Vintage Pens: 3749 Parker Duofold
Ring in the 2020s with the best of the 1920s! Senior Big Red Parker Duofolds were all the rage of the Jazz Age. If you wanted to be the cat's pajamas, you carried a Big Red...even if it was actually orange. We restored this stunning vintage pen with a new ink sac. What makes this Duofold especially remarkable is that it has no cracks, its original 14k gold nib AND Christmas tree/spear inkfeed! Aside from a little brassing on the ball of the pocket clip and light scuffs and shallow scratches on the cap and barrel, this pen is in remarkable condition. The nib is marked 27, and the twin banded cap seems to help verify the pen was from 1927. A good imprint is legible in the permanite barrel. You will write a buttery smooth medium line with it.
