Vintage Pens: Parker Raven
Vintage Pens: 4158 Parker Raven
Fountain Pen Nib Size: SF
Duofold in disguise? Our long-slender Parker vintage pen is a little tricky to identify. Black celluloid, Lucky Curve nib, Christmas-tree inkfeed without the "Lucky Curve," no numbers, no Jack Knife Safety or Duofold imprint. Its imprint simply reads "Geo. S. Parker Pen Made in U.S.A. / Patented". As it turns out, this is a Parker Raven! Its 14k gold nib is marked as a rare Lucky Curve 2. YOU WILL LOVE its rarer SEMI-FLEX ability that writes a fine-medium line to nearly 2mm wide! It has a little feedback, but most semi-flex nibs do. We restored it with a new ink sac. Its button is steel, not gold or gold plated. No cap band; it never had one. Long and slender, this vintage pen is quite elegant. It has some light to moderate wear, but there are no cracks, nor are there any long, deep scratches. 13.4cm capped.
