Hold on to your hat! Flexing with smooth, intense variations is the adjustable nib on our Wahl-Eversharp Doric desk pen. Aside from being a beautiful product of the art deco era, with its striped, faceted green body, this vintage pen is oh-so functional. We restored it with a new ink sac. Yet, we know it is the 14k gold marvel of an adjustable nib that you want to know more about. It is marked as a size 5 nib. Click the headline for a close up. The adjustor slides up and down to make the nib more or less flexible. It works well. How flexi? A smooth fine to nearly 2mm wide! Cosmetically, it is good, though the celluloid looks a little faded and there's a tiny chip missing from the top of the tail taper, which also has bite marks. You'll find the lever goes down 99% of the way but still sticks up just a little when closed. Nevertheless, this is an amazing writer and stunning pen. We just wish we had a matching desk base for it. 21cm long.
