Vintage Pens: Parker Vacumatic
Vintage Pens: 4460 Parker Vacumatic
Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
We've always loved the innovation, research and design that went into the Parker Vacumatic. Beautiful art deco pens made of celluloid that you can see through. Plus, for Parker to spend a fortune developing it during the heart of the Great Depression! Our silver pearl Major was made in 1942. It is an excellent combination of good and bad. There's some kind of burn mark on the back of the cap, and is missing most of the gold plating on the cap band. We found it in working order, though the diaphragm is getting old. The great news is the nib! Click the headline to see an excellently plated two-tone 14k gold nib that writes a lusciously smooth medium line. 13.3cm capped.
