Vintage Pens: Esterbrook Transition
Vintage Pens: 4545 Esterbrook Transition
Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
As Esterbrook moved from Dollar Pens to J-model pen, it found it had more Dollar Pen barrels than caps. As such, they began putting the new J-model cap to the Dollar Pen barrels until they ran out of barrels. These late 1940s pens are known as Esterbrook Transition pens. Our minty green vintage pen has no cracks and minimal wear. We restored it with a new ink sac. Its greatest feature is the steel 2668 nib. It writes a surprisingly smooth fine-medium line. 12.3cm capped.
