Vintage Pens: 2916: Wahl-Eversharp: Lowey Symphony
Hard-to-find Lowey caps are always able to put a smile on our faces. The split-level cap design is a space age effect that we love from the post-war era. The Eversharp Symphony is an otherwise nice, basic lever-filling vintage pen. It has been fully restored with a new ink sac. Showing moderate to heavy wear with scratches in places, it writes a nice wet, fine line with its original 14k gold nib. 14cm capped.

Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $9.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2533: Daniel Hechter: Nose Clicker
Some pens are just too much fun as a novelty pen. This odd mix of wood and chrome is what we call a nose clicker. You press down on the nose of pen against a flat tabletop and that clicks the ballpoint refill forward. Press down directly on the point of the refill again and it clicks the pen closed. This pen uses and comes with a working blue Fisher Space Pen refill that can write on glass, rocks, upside down and in almost any temperature found on earth! Not bad for pen that only costs $9.99. 14.7cm.
Vintage Pens: 2904 LeBoeuf #8
Filling Mechanism: Sleeve Filler)
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $1,750.00
Vintage Pens: 2904: LeBoeuf: #8
If you are really looking to dazzle at the next pen club meeting or impress your friends online, how about this ultra rare oversized LeBoeuf #8 vintage pen. One of the first companies to perfect celluloid pen production, this model from the very early 1930s is an impressive light ivory color with a butterscotch vein running through it. It has a few spots of discoloration, but it is in much better condition than a lot of early ivory celluloids. Fill the pen by sliding the entire barrel back to reveal a fully restored squeeze bar system. No cracks in the celluloid, light wear, some brassing on the clip. The original 14k gold nib sports a crack running from the section up to the 8. Click the headline for a close-up. The nib writes a dry, extra-fine line well without pressure but gets scratchy in a hurry when you add any pressure. 13cm capped.

It looks like the paint job on a sports car with a sparkling subtle metallic lavender finish. The tail twists to advance and retract the working blue Parker-style refill. Nearly flawless with minimal wear. The pen is made of metal and isn't too heavy. A nice balance and weight. 13.1cm.
Vintage Pens: 2905 LeBoeuf #8
Filling Mechanism: Sleeve Filler)
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $1,750.00
Vintage Pens: 2905: LeBoeuf: #8
Among the most sought vintage pens are oversized LeBoeuf pens...such as this one. Although there is some speculation about LeBoeuf being the first company to successfully create fountain pens using celluloid tubing (not rod stock), there is no denying the stunning beauty of their early efforts! Fully restored with a new ink sac and all of its original parts, this is a sleeve filler. The back half of the barrel slides back to reveal what Parker fans might think of as an aerometric squeeze filler. Its pearl-and-black design is in amazingly good condition with a few spots of discoloration you see in the photo. (Click headline for close-ups.) No cracks! A little clip brassing. There is a deep scratch around the tail and a wear mark where the lip of the cap rests against the barrel. Otherwise, only light wear. The large size 8, 14k gold nib writes a medium line with a slightly flattened tip that gives it some line variation! Technically, it even has a tiny bit of flex. 13.4cm capped.

Nearly flawless with minimal wear. The pen is made of metal and isn't too heavy. A nice balance and weight. 13.1cm.
Vintage Pens: 2915 Aikin Lambert Capitol Cabinet
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $125.00
Vintage Pens: 2915: Aikin Lambert: Capitol Cabinet
It isn't too often that you find an Aikin Lambert that looks as if it just rolled off the assembly line. The imprint and chased black hard rubber look perfect! The imprint declares this a Aikin Lambert "Capitol Cabinet." We laughed when we read it. Wow. There was once a time when the president's cabinet was revered and respectable enough to name a pen after. Who knew?! Fully restored with a new ink sac, this vintage pen comes complete with its original 14k gold nib. The tines are a little bowed in the photo, but it writes a wet medium line with flexi tendencies. It is smooth in the sweet spot, but it sings a little. The semi-flex widens to about 1.2mm wide--not a huge variance from its wet medium nature. No cracks. 13.6cm capped.
