Vintage Pens: 2643 Carter’s Ink Pen
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Carter's Ink was one of the most popular ink brands in the United States in the 1920s and '30s. It was a natural fit for them to expand into fountain pens. This is a stunner vintage pen with dark green accented by lighter green swirls. Fully restored, this full-size pen is close to mint condition with a working ink sac that we replaced a couple years ago. No cracks. Light traces of wear. We polished it out, but there is some brassing on the ball of the pocket clip. The 14k gold original nib writes with an extra-smooth, extra-fine line. 13.2cm capped.
