Pre-Owned Pens: 3530 Namiki Pilot Falcon
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $125.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 3530: Namiki Pilot: Falcon
Namiki rebranded itself as Pilot in the U.S.A., but it continued the Falcon line of fountain pens. This more modern Pilot Falcon has a more durable metal frame than the earlier plastic versions. Glittering copper and rhodium trim are unmarked on this nearly mint preowned fountain pen. Nib geeks might especially like the "" nib! Nope, its not a San Francisco nib, it is a 14k white gold "soft fine" nib. Yep. Soft is Pilot-speak for a semi-flex nib. OMG! SMOOTH, and more like an extra-fine nib by my sloppy vintage pen standards. And, honestly, this leans closer to flex than semi-flex. It is no wet noodle, but it will flex from XF to a shade more than 1mm! 13.8cm capped.
