Price: $999.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5499: Mont Blanc: Rouge et Noir Tropic Brown
Rich, warm brown pens aren't common from Montblanc, but in the bright light this special edition Montblanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Tropic Brown is a stunner, especially with its rose gold trim. We believe this pen to be New Old Stock. The nib appears to be undipped, and the blind cap is still stickered for a medium nib. Its piston smoothly pumps down then up. Guaranteed authentic, you get all of this pens original boxes and papers. The photo doesn't do justice to the ruby-chip eyes on of the snake on the pocket clip. Click the headline to see the snake imprint on the 14k gold nib. 13.5cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 5535 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Button Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $139.99
Vintage Pens: 5535: Parker: Duofold
In many ways, the Parker Duofold revolutionized the way we write. Matching utility with style, it was THE pen of the 1920s. A fabulous writer that held a lot of ink that was easy to refill, these were the first pens to introduce a color other than black, gold and silver. Unfortunately, the jade green of this pen is heavily discolored with substantial brassing, but it is still solidly built, fully restored with a new ink sac and writes very nicely. Its 14k gold nib is a Duofold replacement nib of the 1930s. You will write a firm, smooth medium line that might lean a little more toward the broad side of medium. No cracks. Click the headline, and you can see a tiny chip in the edge of the section near the nib. 13.6cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5515 Pelikan Souverän R600
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $249.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5515: Pelikan: Souverän R600
Pelikan shocked its die-hard customers by eliminating the red-striped design from its line about 10 years ago. Bold, without being gaudy, these pens became a little harder to find, though the company has recently reintroduced the color. This mid-sized R600 model looks about as close to new as you can get. We include a new working refill. The logo sports a golden mama pelican with two chicks on a black background. It comes with its original box. 13.2cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 5540 Parker 51
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1950-1959   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $99.99
Vintage Pens: 5540: Parker: 51
There's nothing quite like the classic Parker 51. Considered by many to be the greatest fountain pen of all time, it is easy to fill with its aerometric filler and it writes every time all the time. This is the basic black model with a Lustraloy cap. The pen shows some wear when you can see it close up in person, but you can see in the photo it looks great at a slight distance. Its pli-glass ink sac looks really clean. You will write a deliciously smooth broad line with its 14k gold nib. No cracks or serious damage. 13.7cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5500 Mont Blanc Rouge et Noir Spider Metamorphosis
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $799.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5500: Mont Blanc: Rouge et Noir Spider Metamorphosis
Are your Spidie Senses tingling? They should be at the site of this special edition Montblanc Rouge et Noir Heritage Spider Metamorphosis fountain pen. Like new, complete with all of its boxes and papers we think this pen was used once and put away. The nib sticker is still on the underside of the pen. We love the sterling silver spider design on the cap, and on the 14k gold nib! Click the headline for close-ups. The nib is marked fine. Its piston runs smoothly up and down the barrel as you twist the tail cap. A stunner of a Montblanc. 13.5cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 5534 Parker Vacumatic
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $149.99
Vintage Pens: 5534: Parker: Vacumatic
We don't know about you, but we find a decidedly romantic allure to the Parker Vacumatic design in blue celluloid. Our vintage pen has been fully restored with a new diaphragm. It is dated from 1945. Was it bought by a returning World War II veteran? A young service man or woman who enlisted just as the fighting was coming to an end but would eventually serve in Korea? Who knows? No cracks and only light wear. The barrel clarity is almost completely ambered black, but the rest of the pen looks amazing. You will write a smooth, wet extra-fine line with its original 14k gold nib. 12.8cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5505 Pelikan Souveran R400
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $75.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 5505: Pelikan: Souveran R400
Everybody needs a classic black pen for business and pleasure. Our Pelikan Souveran R400 (or 200, we aren't sure when it comes to rollerballs) is a handsome rollerball pen with gold-plated trim. This preowned pen is luxurious, but it shows a little wear from use. The good news is most of your customers and clients won't notice it as you write. No cracks or deep scratches. It comes with a working black refill and its original box. 12.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5494 Metaphys 4-Pen Roll
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5494: Metaphys: 4-Pen Roll
A light-walnut brown leather, this 4-pen roll is extremely soft and supple to the touch. It shows some wear but it is so amazing to touch. The interior is likely a grey nylon fabric with slots big enough to hold a Montblanc 146, maybe even a 149, but that seems as if it would push the boundaries of the slots. Also inside is an unsecured pocket, and a very small zippered pocket for securing ink cartridges or rollerball refills. 18.8cm long.
