Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1940-1949   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $599.99
Vintage Pens: 4815: Waterman: Emblem
Talk about grail pens! This milk-white Waterman Emblem is New Old Stock! No ink inside the cap. No ink in the threads. If it was used, it was used sparingly. Minimal traces of wear. No brassing. We installed a new ink sac and polished out some tarnish on the cap band and clip. There is a teeny-tiny little dimple on the back of the cap band. It is very rare to find these vintage pens in any condition, let alone this nice of a condition. This isn't a pen with a thermometer, just in case we're confused as to the very definition of a doctor's pen. Click the headline for a close up. You'll write a "rigid" fine line with its 14k gold nib. You will feel the paper beneath the tip, but it isn't a scratchy pen. 13.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4818 Recife Black & Pearl
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4818: Recife: Black & Pearl
Recife goes for a vintage pen look with this black-&-pearl model. It is a nice, pre-owned daily user. It takes standard international cartridges and might hold like converters. Its two-tone steel nib writes a fine line fairly smoothly. However, it might need a little breaking in. The pen and cap have a little wear. 14.3cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4817 Platinum Fountain Pen
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $149.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4817: Platinum: Fountain Pen
Ruggedly handsome, this Platinum fountain pen will scribble its way into your heart. A good daily driver, it is made of metal with a silver and rhodium electro-plated finish. You will write a fine line with its alloy nib. You might feel a hint of feedback, as you scribble. This pen fills with a proprietary converter or cartridge. It comes with a converter. The pen is in great physical condition, but it has some cosmetic faults. You can see a stain that won'd come out. There are no cracks or dents. Unfortunately, you can see stains and marks in the finish. Click the headline for closed. 14cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4816 Sheaffer Daily Driver
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $49.99
Vintage Pens: 4816: Sheaffer: Daily Driver
Sheaffer famously made a "transition" pen that paired spare flat-top barrels with Balance caps. The trouble is, unless you have the original receipt for the pen, it is nearly impossible to tell if you have an original pen or a pen-repairman's Frankenpen. We found this Sheaffer pen in this condition from somebody who got this pen in this condition. Yet, they got it about 80 years after it was first made, so we can't guarantee this is a true, original pen. We can confirm it has a working new ink sac. Its barrel is more discolored than its cap. Click the headline to see the nib up close. You will write a firm, extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. Junior sized. 11.9cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4813 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Button Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $999.99
Vintage Pens: 4813: Parker: Duofold
Senior-sized Parker Duofolds with a wide cap band, such as this one, don't come along every day. In fact, they might only come along once or twice a lifetime, if you're lucky. We have one such beauty right here, and it has no cracks under the cap band. It is gorgeous with a deep Lucky Curve imprint, too! Fully restored with a new ink sac, its only flaw appears to be a thin sliver of brassing on the cap band. Click the headline for a close-up. This is a permanite model not the red hard rubber. Still, it is a great treat. There's a "Christmas tree" inkfeed and a 14k gold nib. You'll write a very nice medium line. Fairly crisp milling on the end caps, too! 13.9cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4814 Conklin Crescent
Filling Mechanism: Crescent Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $299.99
Vintage Pens: 4814: Conklin: Crescent
Conklin pen fans and lovers of art deco might thrill in the unique "M"-shaped chasing between pinstripes on this late-model Conklin Crescent from the 1920s. Probably one of the last hard-rubber models, it doesn't have an identifying model number or nib number. Its 14k gold nib looks like a size 3 or 4. You will write a really nice fine line with it. A passing glance reveals perfection, but if you take a really close scrutinizing look at this Conklin Crescent fountain pen, you'll see a tiny dimple in the cap band and wear marks from putting the cap on either end. The clip isn't flat against the barrel, either. Otherwise, its perfect. No cracks or brassing. Fully restored with a new ink sac. 12.8cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4811: Omas: Paragon Vintage Limited Edition
Now that Omas has gone out of business, its limited editions seem even more limited. We have #52 of 75 from the Omas Paragon Vintage series made in bronze arco celluloid. Click the headline to see its stunning beauty more closely. It is as gorgeous as any bronze arco pen can be. The pen has minimal if any wear, and it comes complete with its original boxes and papers. The imprint on the cap is faint but legible. Its bottle of sepia colored ink appears to be full and unopened. You will write an extra-fine line with its 18k gold nib. These nibs can be easily sprung, but if you have a delicate hand, you can actually write a semi-flex line from extra fine to almost 1mm wide. Just don't push it. 14.1cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4520 Parker Vacumatic
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $499.99
Vintage Pens: 4520: Parker: Vacumatic
The larger Parker Vacumatic Maxima fountain pens are a difficult find these days. However, we are proud to showcase a very handsome golden pearl model from 1941. Our vintage pen has been fully restored with a new diaphragm. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or brassing. There is minimal wear. Its only flaw seems to be that the barrel is ambered. You can still see through it when empty, but the celluloid is fairly dark. Click the headline to see its beautiful two-tone 14k gold nib. You will write a firm, wet, fine line. The firmness gives it feedback, but it isn't scratchy for those who appreciate the nuance of a smooth nib with feedback. 13.6cm capped.
