Made around 1920, this hard-rubber Parker Duofold Jr. desk pen is in nearly mint condition. The imprint is practically perfect, except for fading out on the very far right side. The "Lucky Curve" inkfeed appears to have been replaced, BUT it was replaced with a straight "Christmas Tree" feed. The 14k nib writes a fine to fine-medium line. The tail is in perfect condition, and there is no brassing on its gold ring. The gold button shows no brassing, either. The pen base has no chips or cracks that we can see. The felt on the bottom appears to have been replaced. The pen holder is a chocolatey brown but in good working order. This pen has been fully restored and works wonderfully. The pen measures 19cm, and the base measures 15cm X 9cm X 2cm.

A remarkable gold-filled lady's pen and pencil set, these Parkers predate the Duofold, despite the similarity in design. Both writing instruments show only minor surface wear, and the guilloche pattern runs the length of the pen and pencil. The pen is in complete working order and includes its original nib and intact Lucky Curve Christmas tree inkfeed. The pen has not been resaced, as it is unlikely anyone would want to treat it as anything other than a collector piece. Nonetheless, the barrel and section have been cleaned and prepared for a sac should you request one. The pencil's lead advancing mechanism needs work we are unable to provide. The capped pen measures 8.5cm, and the pencil measures 8.8cm. Contact us for additional pictures.

Vintage Pens: 0020 Parker 51
Era: 1950-1959
Price: $149.00
0020: : Parker: 51

An excellent example of the early Parker 51 with an aeromatic filler, this pen offers many fine features. The best is the gold-fill cap with pinstripes forming peaks beneath the jewel. Also unique is the lack of a blue diamond on the clip -- a rare deviation from the popular branding of the era. The pen works great with its original filling mechanism. The only problem is strictly cosmetic with a little chrome flaking off the filler, as shown in the second photo. The 14K nib writes a fine line. 12.5cm.

Vintage Pens: 0001 Parker Duofold

This streamlined Mandarin yellow lady's Duofold is in excellent condition and dates back to around 1930. There are no cracks, chips or dings in the cap or body. The imprint, "Geo. S. Parker Duofold Made In U.S.A./PATENTED" is crisp, although the bottom of Duofold and top of PATENTED aren't very deep. It has its original nib and "Christmas Tree" feed. It is fully restored and writes a smooth fine-medium line. 11.3 cm capped.
