Parker 51 pens took the world by storm when they were released. As such, they were the longest running line of pens in production in the vintage pen era! 30 years! Our vintage pen is the classic black and Lustraloy model. It was a daily user and shows some deep scratches but no cracks or dents. Its pli-glass sac in the aerometric filler still works and fills the pen. Its 14k gold nib writes a dry, extra-fine line with a little feedback. 13.6cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 4213 Sheaffer Lifetime Flat Top
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $69.99
Vintage Pens: 4213: Sheaffer: Lifetime Flat Top
Back in the 1920s a new technology came along to revolutionize business: carbon paper. To make the most of it with a fountain pen, a firm nib was needed. Sheaffer made some of the firmest nibs of the era to press through and make duplicates and triplicates of documents easily. Our Sheaffer Lifetime flat top model is a senior oversized vintage pen. We restored it with a new ink sac. It has some pretty heavy wear from use, most easily seen in the brassing of the cap band. There are no cracks, but the cap and barrel show wear. The clip, also, is a little loose. Its original 14k gold nib writes a smooth, extra-fine line. 13.5cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 4194: Parker: Duofold
Big Red Parker Duofolds were all the rage in the roaring 1920s. This is the desk pen model. We have restored its filling system with a new ink sac. However, it isn't difficult to see that this pen is heavily worn. Although you can't see it, the pen also is engraved with the name F. Eileen Metz. In spite of all of its discoloration, scratches and wear, there are no cracks, and the pen is in good working order—ready for many more years of loyal service. Its 14k gold nib writes an extra-fine line with a little feedback. 18.5cm.

Vintage Pens: 4185 Sheaffer Imperial
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $39.99
Vintage Pens: 4185: Sheaffer: Imperial
Sheaffer Imperial pens got their start in the vintage pen era, which is why we've included it here. This one is more modern of brushed steel and what we suspect is a "palladium silver" nib. This pen is a great daily driver that was a bit beat up in its earlier life. You'll see plenty of scratches and marks of pitting. It comes with an original aerometric-style squeeze-bar converter that still works. You can also use modern Sheaffer converters or cartridges. The cap wiggles a bit but closes tightly. You'll write a firm, extra-fine line with feedback. 13.2cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4184 Sheaffer Junior
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $49.99
Vintage Pens: 4184: Sheaffer: Junior
"Get them while they're young, Evita. Get them while they're young." We always liked that line in the famous musical, and William Sheaffer was nobody's fool. That's why he created the Sheaffer Junior, to hook school kids on Sheaffer pens of their own to grow into. Perfectly sized for kids around 6th grade through middle school, we have restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. Definitely a user grade pen, you'll see blemished in the nickel trim and some wear on the rest of the pen. Still, there are no cracks. Its 14k gold "Junior" nib is a little on the rarer side and writes an extra-fine line with a little feedback. 11.2cm capped.

Great for daily use. 13.3cm capped.
