Pre-Owned Pens: 6520 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $349.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6520: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
Enjoy the 2006 limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen in dazzling "Ice Blue." This preowned luxury pen comes complete with its original boxes and papers. It even has its cartridge cap, in case you want to stop using its working converter and switch over to proprietary Pilot cartridges. A close inspection will show light traces of wear in the ice blue, but no one sitting near you will ever see it. The rhodium trim is a little more scuffed around the nib zone. Marked "F" for a fine point, this 18k gold nib really writes an extra-fine line with a little feedback. Its clam-shell presentation box is fine, but there is some deterioration on the cross strap of the pad upon which the pen rests. 14cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6517 Rotring 600
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $299.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6517: Rotring: 600
It came as a surprise to us to learn that there is a huge difference between the original Rotring 600 fountain pens, such as this one, and the poorly made modern ones. These original ones were very well constructed. There are no cracks or problems with the metal. The cap snaps tightly, and the worst you can say about this pen is that it has a little wear from use. It comes with standard international converter. You will write a firm, dry extra-fine line with its steel nib. There's a little feedback, but not much. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.7cm capped.

Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $399.99
Vintage Pens: 6197: Sheaffer: Premier
Oversized carmine Sheaffer Premiers are a real treat when they have fully restored Vacuum-Fil systems. We had the great Sherrell Tyree restore this exceedingly handsome vintage pen. No cracks, no deep scratches, minimal brassing. This pen is a beaut with only minor wear from use. We've filled it and written with it to make sure it is working well. You will write a very nice extra-fine line with its two-tone 14k gold nib. A treasure for any Sheaffer collector and lover of vintage writing instruments. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.7cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 6513: Waterman: Phileas
Waterman Phileas pens became one of the most famous entry-level fountain pens of the 1990s and early 2000s. Our preowned pen was someone's well loved daily driver. It has light to moderate wear on the cap and barrel. No cracks or glaring scars. We installed a new standard international converter. You will write a extra-fine line with a little feedback, using its two-tone steel nib. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6586 Ranga Model 3
Filling Mechanism: Eyedropper
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6586: Ranga: Model 3
Handmade in India, this mottled yellow ebonite fountain pen by Ranga is a handsome retro modern writer. Officially it is the Ranga Model 3. It is large at nearly 6-inches long and rather girthy. Looks nearly new. Minimal if any wear. Click the headline for close-ups. Even though the two-tone steel nib is marked F for fine, it seems more like an extra-fine to us. It comes with a Ranga box, too. However, we aren't sure if this is the original box to this pen. 15.1cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6585 Bexley Zoss
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $249.99
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 6585: Bexley: Zoss
What we love most about early Bexley pen designs is that they took everything that the company loved most about vintage pen design and created a modern luxury pen with it. This pen looks like a Parker Duofold, but with a woodgrain pattern on an orange hard rubber cap and barrel. Parker never had a woodgrain Duofold, but everyone loves the woodgrains of vintage Waterman, making this a perfect marriage of designs. A limited edition numbered 55 of only 100, this pen commemorated the 1000th subscriber to a mailing list or list serve named Zoss in the year 2000. Thus, this is the Bexley Zoss fountain pen. The clip of the pen is solid 10k gold. There are no cracks and minimal wear on the pen. There is a touch of oxidation to the woodgrain. It comes with a standard international converter. You will write an extra fine line with its 14k gold nib. 14.2cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 6505 Esterbrook CH Purse Pen
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1950-1959   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $125.00
SOLD!
Vintage Pens: 6505: Esterbrook: CH Purse Pen
Adopt some the 1950s style with this Esterbrook CH "Purse Pen." Not quite turquoise, we love this vibrant pastel blue that is very cool, Daddy-O. Unlike so many of these pastel-line pens, there are no cracks! Our pen looks really sharp at writing distance, but a close inspection shows a lot of light surface wear from...likely being carried around in a purse. We installed a new ink sac. You will write a fairly smooth extra-fine line with its steel 1551 nib. There is a touch of feed back, but not bad for an Esterbrook 1000-series steel nib. 11.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6420 Rotring 600
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6420: Rotring: 600
We wish we could tell you that this Rotring 600 is one of the classic ones from longer ago, but it is much more modern. You can tell by the crack in the barrel near the tail. You can see the brass beneath the black. Click the headline for close-ups. We've never seen a metal pen crack before. Otherwise, this pen is nearly perfect. The crack won't effect the writing. It has a firm, extra-fine steel nib that is reasonably smooth for an extra-fine nib. It fills with standard international cartridges. There is a silvery disc on the tail that has "EF" in black letters, indicating the nib size. 14cm capped.
