Pre-Owned Pens: 5343: Sheaffer: Targa
Sheaffer's first real hit in the post-Golden Age of pens came in the 1970s with the Sheaffer Targa. Its design screams 1970s and '80s. Bold, modern, a cylindrical body squared off on the top and bottom. Our pen has a matte-black finish with gold plated trim. An excellent rollerball pen, its refill is a real tanker. There is an old refill in it now, but we have just ordered some new ones, which we will include with it, as soon as they arrive. Minimal, if any, wear. 13.7cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5273 Retro 51 Golden
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $19.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5273: Retro 51: Golden
We believe this is an early Retro 51 rollerball pen from before the birth of the popular Tornado line. It has a firm-fitting snap cap, but the cap and barrel spin freely when engaged. It is odd, as they are locked tightly together. This pen is in good cosmetic condition. You fill it with standard rollerball refills, like the ones used by Waterman a many other brands. 14.2cm capped.

Italian artisans brilliantly recapture the decadence and beauty of the 1930s with this Montegrappa Extra 1930 rollerball pen. Our preowned luxury pen looks pretty close to perfect with its dazzling sterling silver trim and "bamboo" green celluloid. Sheaffer had a similarly colored celluloid in the 1930s called "marine green." You can really lose yourself in the green flames as you rotate this pen under a light. This handsome pen comes with a working blue rollerball refill and all of its boxes and papers. There is a luxuriousness to its heft and girth, too. 13.6cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 5102: Mont Blanc: Heritage 1912
We love how Montblanc draws from its early days of pen-making to create this retro capless rollerball pen as part of the Montblanc Heritage Collection 1912. Our pen is guaranteed authentic, coming complete with its original boxes and papers. Its brush metal design is very Bau Haus inspired. The only significant flaw can be seen just above the clip and 3/4s of the way to end of the cap. It is a wear spot from use. The rest of the pen looks great. Comes with a working blue refill.

Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4960: Pelikan: Souverän R800
If you like the fluidity of a fountain pen, but you worry it will be too messy for daily writing, you will love the smooth, sophisticated splendor of the luxurious Pelikan Souverän R800 rollerball pen. It has a ballpoint-style refill with a water-based ink. This makes it much more fluid-writing than the oil-based ballpoint pens. Luxury penmaker Pelikan's 800 series is its second largest. This particular pen is in excellent condition with a tiny bit of brassing on the cap band, but the rest of the pen looks nearly perfect. Made in West Germany, you get the idea of how old it must be. Includes a working black refill. The logo is gold with a black mama pelican and two chicks. 14cm capped.
