1920-1929 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$349.99Here it is boys and girls, the rare-treasure Parker Duofold Jr that you've been looking for and not finding for ages. Behold the highly sought blue-on-blue lapis Parker Duofold Jr. with nearly mint cap and barrel perfection in color. NO DISCOLORATION! The milling on the blind cap and cap topper is crisp and superb. The barrel imprint is crisp and clear. Somehow the cap and barrel managed to get some light wear, and there is brassing on the ball of the clip. No cracks, deep scratches or flaws to the exterior. We restored the pen with a new ink sac. Click the headline, and you will see that the 14k gold original nib was what took a little damage over the years. Amazingly, it still writes well with a really wet broad line that is very smooth. Original "Christmas tree" inkfeed underneath. Pen measures 11.5cm capped.

1930-1939 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$149.99Juicy, fat nibs are far too few in our opinion. However, if you like wet, broad nibs the way we do, you will love this streamlined black Parker Duofold Jr. Our fully restored vintage pen comes with a fresh ink sac. Click the headline for close-ups of the nib and shiny black goodness of this streamlined beauty. It isn't in mint condition, but it is pretty stunning if you don't mind some cap marks above the threadline and around the tail from posting. No cracks. No engraving. No deep scratches. The photo shows the deep imprint pretty clearly. 12cm capped.

5665 Sheaffer Imperial Filling Mechanism:
Cartridge/ConverterEra:
1960-1979 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$199.99Sheaffer Imperial pens remained in production for nearly 40 years. They were one of the last of the great golden era fountain pens released by Sheaffer. We believe this stunning Sheaffer Imperial to be from the mid-1970s. Close to mint condition, this rarer sterling silver model sports a barley corn pattern. You have to look insanely hard under the right light to find a kiss of a dimple in the cap. The rest is pretty surprisingly nice. It comes with its original aerometric style converter, and it also can take Sheaffer cartridges. You will write a nice broad line with its 18k gold inlaid nib. We actually filled this one up and wrote with it all the way dry. The nib is smooth, but it does have some hard starts, which can get annoying. 13.1cm capped.

1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$125.00SOLD!Sweet dreams are made of these Sheaffer-Levenger Connaisseurs named after the 7 seas. This handsome pre-owned pen represents the Aegean Sea. It is a lovely translucent green with gold-plated trim. We believe it is a Sheaffer-cartridge only pen, as we haven't any Sheaffer converters that fit it. It has a little wear from use. You will write a luscious wet broad line with its 14k gold nib. 14cm capped.

5613 Mabie Todd (Swan) Swallow Filling Mechanism:
Lever FillerEra:
1920-1929 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$39.99SOLD!Some vintage pens are just survivors, and that is the defining feature of our Mabie Todd Swallow. It has been through a lot as evidenced by some serious scars and cuts into the pen. You will see a small hole in the top of the cap, too, and it isn't from a tassie. We restored it with a new ink sac all the same. It ain't dead, yet. Click the headline for close-ups. You will write a broad line with its somewhat jankety 14k gold nib. It can be both smooth on some angles and scratchy on others. 13cm capped.

5601 Waterman 2 Filling Mechanism:
Lever FillerEra:
1940-1949 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$69.99For as handsome as this moss green-grey vintage pen is, it features some of the weaknesses of 1940s Waterman manufacturing. Our Waterman 2 has a crack in the top of the cap and in the lip of the cap. Its pocket clip spins freely. We restored this pen with a new ink sac. You'll find nice Canadian Waterman imprints. Click the headline for a close-up of the 14k gold nib. When you find the sweet spot on the nib, you will write a smooth broad line. It gets a little scratchy when you lose the sweet spot. Oh, and its inkfeed is a modern replacement feed. 12.8cm capped.

5588 Armando Simoni Club Studio Filling Mechanism:
Piston FillerEra:
1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$149.99When the original Omas went belly up a few years ago, one bright entrepreneur bought up most, if not all, of the company's famed celluloid rod stock. He then created a new brand called the Armando Simoni Club. Armando Simoni was the founder of the original Omas pen company in Italy, and "The Club" made new pens out of the remains of the old company's leftovers. This pen is the Armando Simoni Club Studio in Pinnacle Yellow. It appears to be New Old Stock and never previously filled. The piston filler works well and shows no trace of ink. Click the headline to see the golden alloy nib. It is marked B for broad but looks like a medium to us. We did not dip it, as we didn't want to tarnish its NOS sensibilities. Complete with box and pouch. 14.5cm capped.

5548 Sailor 1911 Filling Mechanism:
Cartridge/ConverterEra:
1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
BPrice:
$199.99Fans of Sailor pens know that ZOOM nibs are a special treat, and we are happy to report that this standard-size Sailor 1911 has a Zoom nib! For the uninitiated, the Zoom nib is a 14k gold broad nib. In the world of Japanese nibs, it might be considered a double or triple broad. For American and European nib enthusiasts, we dipped it and it looks mostly like a regular broad nib. Regardless, aside from a scuff on the pocket clip, this pen looks like new. It also comes complete with its original boxes and converter. 13.6cm capped.
