Vintage Pens: 3568: Sheaffer: Imperial
Sheaffer Imperials were made deep into the 1990s, even though they got their start in the 1960s. By heritage, it is a vintage pen, but we think this Sheaffer Imperial fountain pen was made in the 1980s. It is just like one Sheaffer gave to the owner at age 10, when it couldn't fix his grandfather's old 1928 Lifetime. This pen is in excellent condition, with minimal to light wear, and it sports a deliciously broad 14k gold nib that is really smooth in the sweet spot. It comes with an original Sheaffer squeeze-bar converter, but it also can use modern piston converters and Sheaffer cartridges. 13.5cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 3725 Parker VP
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1960-1979   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $225.00
Vintage Pens: 3725: Parker: VP
The Parker 75 is one of the most popular fountain pens from the vintage pen era. However, that pen never would have been as popular if it wasn't for its original incarnation as the Parker VP! The V.P. meant Very Personal. What made it and the 75 so personal? The ergonomic section grip AND rotating 14k gold nib! Nibs are stationary in most pens. In the Parker VP, you can carefully rotate the nib in the ergonomical grip to custom fit the writing angle to your hand! Parker only made the pen for a couple years because the glass (or glass-like) ink-view/nipple assembly for the aerometric filler cracked too easily. Luckily for you, the entire filling unit is in great working order on this classic pen. The pen was heavily used and shows wear on the cap and barrel, but there are no cracks. Its original 14k gold nib writes a broad line. Click the headline for a close-up. 13.3cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 3697 Wahl-Eversharp Personal Point Set
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $199.99
Vintage Pens: 3697: Wahl-Eversharp: Personal Point Set
Before Pelikan. Before Esterbrook. Wahl-Eversharp created the first set of interchangeable nibs for a single pen. The Wahl-Eversharp Personal Point pen offered at least 14 different nib sizes. Unlike Esterbrook, these screw-in nibs were only intended for dealers to change so that they didn't have to carry dozens of different model pens with each of the different nib sizes at the height of the Great Depression. Imagine how a 1930s' Wahl-Eversharp executive's head would explode in our era of custom pen rediscovery. Our vintage pen is fully restored with a new ink sac. It comes with a "Manifold" 14k gold nib, which means it is firm to write through carbon paper. It writes a wet. medium-broad line with a hint of feedback. The pencil advances and retracts 1.1mm lead smoothly. Minimal wear, no cracks. Incredible pearl & black color with only minimal discoloration. Pen measures 13.3cm capped.
