As if bronze arco celluloid wasn't enough to get you excited, this is the grand poobah Omas Grand Paragon pen. Larger than a standard Paragon, ours measures 14.75cm long. The height of Italian luxury pen making, this is a stunner for any collector. It is tough to see at a glance, but there is some wear on this pen that is quite visible up close. No cracks, deep scratches, brassing or other serious flaws. Just lots of wear from daily use. We found it by luck, as it came in an Omas Milord box with a leather sleeve. Many people go ga-ga for the stunning Omas Arco designs, but the blue-and-orange "Saffron" design really blows our mind. This is the large Omas Paragon at 14.1cm in length while capped. It is in good working order, with a smooth piston fill. It does have some wear from use but no cracks, brassing or deep scratches. Also included are its original boxes and papers. Beyond the stunning celluloid is a delightfully smooth two-tone 18k gold nib that writes a juicy medium line. This one sports the year 1997 on the section. Click the headline for close-ups.

Celebrating Italy's hosting of the 1990 World Cup soccer tournament, the green of this modern classic luxury pen symbolizes the color of the soccer pitch. There is a checkerboard design to the usual gold-plated cap band. Our preowned luxury pen comes with all of its original boxes and papers. Gently used, it shows only minor wear. Very minor wear. The invention of wireless communication in 1895 revolutionized the world. Guglielmo Marconi is generally credited with inventing the radio, and in 1995 the Omas Marconi fountain pen celebrated the 100th anniversary of that incredible achievement. Our pre-owned luxury pen is designed with rings symbolizing radio waves, and the pocket clip represents the transmitting key. Fill this pen with the smooth moving piston activated by a blind cap in the tail. The pen was a user that shows a little wear but no cracks or significant scratches. You will write a very smooth medium-fine line with its 18k gold nib. Unfortunately, we do not have the original boxes or papers. 13.7cm capped.

The United Nations celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Food & Agriculture Organization in 1995 and its ongoing efforts to stamp out global hunger. Omas hired sculptor Gio Pomodoro to help design this luxury pen, and his signature is on the back of the cap, which you can see in the photo. Originally, all the proceeds from these pens were shared with the FAO. A total of 6,000 pens were made. We do not have the original box and papers for this pen. Although it is crack and deep-scratch free, it shows significant dull wear from heavy use. We flushed a lot of black ink out of the pen, and added more silicon grease to the inside barrel walls, but the piston filler is still fairly stiff to operate. You will write a nice fine line with its 18k gold nib that has a little feedback. Omas Paragon sized at 14cm capped.

Omas celebrated the British return of Hong Kong to China in 1997 with a beautifully ornate sterling silver fountain pen called the Omas Return to the Motherland. Our preowned pen is like new and has never been used! New Old Stock luxury writing. It comes with all of its original boxes and papers. We worked the piston without any ink or water, and it moves smoothly. Click the headline for close-ups. Its two-tone 18k gold dragon nib is marked medium. There is a little tarnish from sitting in its box all these years, but the finish is perfect. No scratches or marking.

Oh, Milord! You are going to love this great burgundy Omas Milord rollerball pen. It is still such a shame this great Italian penmaker went out of business several years ago. Our preowned luxury pen is in great working order and was given a brand new black, capless rollerball refill. The pen shows only light wear plus a little tarnish or brassing on the exterior trim. No cracks or any significant damage. Looks and works great. Comes with its original box and papers. 13.5cm capped.

Omas pens remain among the hottest writing instruments at the moment, especially since the original company went out of business several years ago. Their pencils are among the hardest to find of their writing instruments, as they didn't make as many. This burgundy Omas Milord pencil is a real treat that comes with its original box and papers. We think it is a .5mm lead pencil. Spare leads are under the cap, which unscrews...so don't try to yank it off. With the exception of a tiny bit of brassing on the cap bands, this pencil has only some light wear from use, which is difficult to see unless you examine it closely. Works well. The click action works with a side twist of the tail cap. 14cm.
