Pre-Owned Pens: 4187 Cross Century Sport
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $9.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4187: Cross: Century Sport
Around 2008 or '09, Cross decided to update the look of its famous Century pen by creating the Century Sport. It is a much more modern look in a sateen-finish blue with chrome-plated trim. You twist the tail cap to advance and retract the Cross refill. This pen is New Old Stock, still in its original packaging. We assume everything is working perfectly, as it isn't that old and is still in its original box. A perfect stocking stuffer.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4179 Conklin Mark Twain
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $29.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4179: Conklin: Mark Twain
It was exciting to see the return of the Conklin pen company, especially when they released their modern Crescent filling "Mark Twain" fountain pens. Our cream-colored Conklin Mark Twain ballpoint pen is the complementing model to the fountain pen. Our's is an early one that was numbered 149 of 1000. It is in excellent condition with minimal wear. You twist the tail cap to advance and retract the working black Parker-style refill. We find it has a nice width to help minimize hand cramp. 14.4cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4154 Parker 75
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1960-1979
Price: $99.99
Vintage Pens: 4154: Parker: 75
Probably the last great pen design of the vintage pen era was the Parker 75. Our sterling silver Parker 75 desk pen is in nearly mint condition. No dents, no scratches, hardly any trace of wear! We shined it up and gave it a brand new black Parker refill. Works beautifully. The perfect replacement if you have a 75 desk base missing its pen! 16.5cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4120 Waterman Carene Deluxe
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4120: Waterman: Carene Deluxe
Even base-model Waterman Carene ballpoint pens look great, but their Waterman Carene Deluxe counterparts dazzle with their gold-plated tail caps. Our pre-owned luxury pen sports a forest-green barrel that contrasts handsomely with the golden cap. Our preowned luxury pen is in great working order, but it has some light to moderate wear on the barrel. No cracks, no dents. The green barrel has some light scratches and wear that you can feel more than see in some lighting conditions. Few people would likely see it as you write with it, but it is there if you look under bright lights. Included is a working blue refill that extends and retracts when you twist the tail cap. 13.9cm.
Vintage Pens: 4149 Sheaffer Stratowriter Desk Set
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1950-1959
Price: $49.99
Vintage Pens: 4149: Sheaffer: Stratowriter Desk Set
Early Sheaffer ballpoint desk pens aren't an everyday find. We think these are desk versions of Stratowriters, but we could be wrong. All they say is that they are "Gold Electroplated" with a crown. Does the crown make them Imperials? We aren't sure, but we saved them from old age and corrosion. Click the headline to look past the glittering shine. You can still see a lot of damage to the finish of the electroplating. There's even a spot of steel visible on one of the tapers. Both tapers have white dots, but we wanted to show off the worst of the wear, damage and corrosion that remains. We think these take the original refills that are no longer made but replaced by clever means out there on the web. 17.5cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4113 Pelikan K200
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4113: Pelikan: K200
Pelikan is best known for its luxury fountain pens, but its ballpoint pens are no slouches, either. This K200 green demonstrator is amazing. It has a click-advance and retraction of the refill. You can see it has an authentic Pelikan ballpoint refill, which is actually the Parkere-style refill. It writes a great black line. On top of the clicker is the logo of a mama pelican and 2 chicks. The pen has a little light wear from use, but it looks great and writes wonderfully. 13.2cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4115 Lamy 3 Multi-Pen
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4115: Lamy: 3 Multi-Pen
Why multi-pens aren't more common in society is beyond us. Pens such as this Lamy Multi-pen are so useful for note-taking, coding and writing in general. Ours works easily with a clicker. Rotate the pen so that the blue square is facing the ceiling and click it to extend the blue refill. Click it again to withdraw the refill. Rotate it to the black or red and click it, and the ink you want will appear. Practicality at its most simple. All three ink refills work. This one was gently used and shows a couple little marks on the brushed steel barrel and clicker. 14.4cm.
