Vintage Pens: Sheaffer Crest 600
Vintage Pens: 0553 Sheaffer Crest 600
Golden Brown with a gold-filled cap makes for a stunning combo for a simple pencil. Meet the Sheaffer Crest 600 vintage pencil. The 600 denoted that it was a $6 pen back in the post-war 1940s. The 1/10th 14k gold-filled cap is nearly flawless. The barrel is pretty good, too, except for the "WMC" engraved on it. The .9mm lead advances and retracts smoothly with a twist of the tail cap. Under the petrified eraser is a spare lead. 12.6cm.
