This Classic Model Parker Pen is matte black and inscribed in Gold: “Flown with First 3M Experiment Space Shuttle Discovery November 1984”.

The matte black box with Gold Trim depicts the Space Shuttle Discovery and is inscribed in Gold lettering: Commemorative Pen Flown Aboard NASA Flight 51A November 1984 – and – From 3M’s First “Voyage of Discovery”.

STS-51A’s launch date was November 8, 1984 at 6:59 a.m. EST and the Mission Duration was 7 days, 23 hours, 44 minutes, 56 seconds.

The Pen is new and unused and comes with the original metal ink cartridge. The box is in very good condition with on a slight mar on the back gold band.
