The only thing we did to the vintage pen is install a new ink sac and O-ring, in the off chance you want to write with the fountain pen. The pencil is likewise in perfect working order. The original instructions are under the pad. The short pocket clip's outer shell feels a little loose, but the main anchor of the clip is strong. The box has some schmutz on the back and on some of the edges, but the box remains whole and in good structural condition.
