Merry Christmas 1913! It looks like B.F. Kitsmiller of Shippensburg had a good one. This Waterman 12 has been well preserved complete with its original box and a special tassie fastener. Click the headline for a close-up. The cap is missing its tassie, unfortunately. However, the pen is in otherwise great condition. No cracks, crisp imprints. Lovely repoussé trim on the cap and barrel. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the section to open up after a little water and heat. Old ink sometimes glues these beauties together. The pen is in such great shape, we didn't want to risk much in getting it open. The 14k gold nib has incredible flex going from a medium line to 2mm wide! 13.1cm capped.
