Very Rare !

This pen was manufactured in the 1940s - 1950's by the Thomas De LaRue Co. Ltd. in London, England. The pen fills via a plunger which was recently replaced. The pens' barrel imprints are amazingly strong for a pen this age and it's a 5601 model. The nib is 14 carat and has 3/ST stamped on it, the pen has good flex and can lay down a good line of ink. The pen is shiny black and the barrel has nice, strong "barley corn" pattern on it.
