Vintage Pens: Parker Vacumatic
Vintage Pens: 2115 Parker Vacumatic
The 1930s and the Great Depression were tough times, and this double jewel Parker Vacumatic looks like one tough pen. We have restored it to great working order with a new diaphragm. The 14k gold nib writes a very nice fine line with a hint of feedback, as many fines feel to us. What makes it so tough? It doesn't have a single crack, but it is covered in scratches and deep dent-like impressions. The lockdown filler works great. It just has a lot of cosmetic flaws. Good imprint with a 1937 date code. Minor brassing on the clip and cap bands. Think of it as a pen with a whole lot of character that still works like a champ. 12.1cm capped.
