Vintage Pens: Pelikan 100
Vintage Pens: 3124 Pelikan 100
Okay. So we got the original description a little wrong. The nib and box are not accurate for the pen...although everything fits! The pen might be from the late 1940s or 1950s. The pencil might be older, as it is marked "D.R.P." We are selling it on behalf of a fairly well-known Pelikan restoration master. The pen's piston seal has been replaced and it works well. We'd say there was moderate wear on the pen. It can't hide its scratches. You can see a little gap where the cap falls just short of the green sleeve on the pen. Fractals are visible but not leaking in the green ink view window. Its 14c gold nib writes an extra-fine semi-flex line with a little feedback. Although the pen has no "D.R.P" marks that we could find, the pencil does. It is a great working click pencil! Pen measures 11.8cm capped.
