Vintage Pens: Esterbrook 444 Dipless Pen
Vintage Pens: 3169 Esterbrook 444 Dipless Pen
Give your bed-and-breakfast, church or small business a classic vibe with a dip pen to sign the register. The pen is called "dipless" because its holder is an inkwell, and you have to dip it less because it always rests in ink. The dip/holder is an inkwell that keeps the pen wet and ready to fill out a check or other brief writing experience. The glass base is New Old Stock. The black cover has its original price sticker. It has not seen ink, as the instructions are still under the black part, which you must pry off to fill. The pen is dip only, and it comes complete with an upgraded 2968 nib, which we haven't dipped as it also appears to be NOS. Click the headline for a close-up photo. Complete with original box and instructions!
