Vintage Pens: Parker 51 Demi Set
Vintage Pens: 3887 Parker 51 Demi Set
Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Parker 51 Demi models were only made for a short while, and we are lucky enough to present one that was barely used if ever. The pencil looks spotless, and the fountain pen, though restored with a new diaphragm, has only some wear on the hood where the cap snugs and a few light scratches in the almost otherwise flawless lustraloy cap. The pencil is loaded with spare leads and a hardened eraser. You advance the lead smoothly with a twist of the tail. The vintage pen's 14k gold nib writes a smooth fine line. There is a first quarter 1948 date code clearly imprinted on the barrel. The vast majority of the flaws are with the original Parker 51 box. There's staining on the inside and heavy wear on the outside, which only proves the box did its job protecting the instruments inside it.
