Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint

Cross updated its Cross Century pen line with a clipless "For Her." It has a love floral ring around the twist caps on both the ballpoint pen and pencil. Each pen is gold-filled, and neither seems to show much wear from use. The packaging is complete from when new, and this might very well be a New Old Stock set. The ballpoint refill works well, but the mechanism is a little stiff from lack of use. The pencil is in good working order.

Celebrating its 150th birthday, Pelikan released a special black-and-silver pen. It designated it the Pelikan D730. Twist the tail cap to advance and retract the black Parker-style ballpoint. Unfortunately, there are two dimples in the silver tail cap, just under the unengraved name plate. 12.5cm.

"Where did Robinson Crusoe go with Friday on Saturday night?" We can't get the old Max Morath song out of our head since photographing these Montblanc Daniel Defoe limited edition pens. This ballpoint version of the pen looks brand new and comes with all its complete boxes and papers. The resin body has lines that make it look a little like wood. The ballpoint refill still writes a nice blue line. The pen is dedicated to Daniel Defoe's novel "Robinson Crusoe." Guaranteed authentic.

Pelikan makes some of our favorite luxury pens on the market today. Our Pelikan Souverän K800 looks to be in near mint condition. We love its iconic green stripes on the tail cap. Twist it to advance or retract the working blue Parker-style ballpoint refill. This larger model is a little easier to grip and is nicely weighted.
