Pre-Owned Pens: 4042: Pelikan: R800 Souveran
Stately and sophisticated, green straited Pelikan pens are a luxury for writers around the world. Our Pelikan Souverän R800 pen is a large, but not oversized, made by quality-obsessed German engineers and craftsmen. Ours is in excellent condition, with minimal wear from use. It comes with a working blue Pelikan rollerball refill, but we have no idea how much ink is left and will remain fresh while it awaits a new home. On top of the cap is a golden logo with a mama pelican and two chicks. 13.8cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4030 Monte Cristo Cigar Pen
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $35.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 4030: Monte Cristo: Cigar Pen
The famed Monte Cristo cigar company released a special rollerball pen to go with a cigar sample set in the past decade. (OMG. We love their cigars.) This pen looks as if it took style pointers from the Montblanc F. Scott Fitzgerald pen. It takes standard rollerball refills, but what we really love about it is that the tail piece unscrews to reveal a cigar punch! Who doesn't love a multi-functional pen. Look closely at the photo, and you can see the side of the pen barrel has seen some moderate wear. When posted the refill still seemed to have some black ink in it, but we don't know how much or how long it will last. 14.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3672 Waterman Carene
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 3672: Waterman: Carene
Amber Shimmer is one of the best color schemes on the Waterman Carene line of pens. Our rollerball version was gently used, showing only a few marks of light wear. It comes with a new refill that isn't photoed. These always feel smoother and more solid than rival Montblancs, due to their brass construction. Another nice feature is its spring-loaded clip. 14.4cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4002: Pelikan: 650
There's luxury, and there's luxury. Why spend more on a Montblanc, when you can have a stunning Pelikan 650 rollerball pen with a vermeil cap! Yes, that's a solid sterling silver cap that is plated in gold! Our preowned luxury pen sports only light wear that is barely noticeable at arm's length. Presently, it has a working blue rollerball refill, but we have no idea how much ink actually remains. The secret trick to refilling this pen is to unscrew the blind cap in the tail. The golden mama pelican on the top of the cap is tending 2 little chicks. 13.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3606 Visconti Pericle
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 3606: Visconti: Pericle
Visconti Pericle pens were inspired by the great leader of ancient Athens, Greece. We especially like the Grecian warrior helmet-inspired cap on this handsome blue rollerball pen. Although we are fresh out of rollerball refills, this pen remains an easy pen to fill with standard rollerball refills. It has some light wear from use, and it is one of the less common Visconti models. The clip is spring-loaded to help preserve it from repeated insertions into pockets. 14.5cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 3552: Sheaffer: Targa
Yep. We are calling it. In our humble world view, Sheaffer Targas are now vintage pens. The early ones are more than 40 years old, and the design looks it...as handsome as it is. We love Targas, to be sure. Vintage is a title of distinction, and this Sheaffer Targa rollerball pen, electroplated in gold, is distinguished. No dents or deep scratches, only light wear from use. Well, that is until you get to the very discolored black section. We tried polishing it out without success. No cracks, just discolored. It uses Sheaffer rollerball refills, but we are, unfortunately, out of them. 13.5cm capped.
