$175.00One of the most successful pens of modern Waterman is the Waterman Carene Deluxe. We love these preowned luxury pens. The dynamic styling and excellent writing characteristics make it a real winner. The "Deluxe" means it has a silver-plated cap. The cap combines handsomely with the blue barrel. The cap looks great without any dents or scratches, but the barrel shows some light wear. Included is a Schmidt standard international converter. You will write a very smooth fine line with its 18k gold nib. Great for dressing up and daily writing. 14.5cm capped.

1950-1959 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
XFPrice:
$59.99The color match of this married Esterbrook J-model fountain pen looks better in the photo than in real life. The cap is a much deeper red than the barrel. The cap also looks pretty jankety. Nevertheless, there are no cracks and the cap is on tightly. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. We also gave it a new 1461 nib straight out of the box. You will write a firm, extra-fine line with a little feedback. Definitely not a museum piece, but a nice enough daily driver. 12.6cm capped.

$499.99Few bridges in Europe are as famous as Florence, Italy's, Ponte Vecchio. It has spanned the Arno River since Medieval times and is famous today for its incredible shops. Early Visconti decided to pay homage to it with this Visconti Ponte Vecchio fountain pen. We love the way the oranges and blues pop in the light. Our preowned luxury pen comes from Visconti's rise to fame. It comes with its worn leather box and papers. Gently used, it still looks like new. You will love the way its smooth 18k gold nib lays down a medium line. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.2cm capped.

$59.99Pastels dominated the 1950s' Technicolor landscape, and Esterbrook Purse Pens specialized in those soft colors. This robin's egg blue pen has a great cap and barrel with no cracks but some discoloration. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. The pocket clip is on nice and tight. Click the headline for close-ups. You will see there is a crack in the section near the nib. It is a short crack, and we think we've successfully sealed it with rubber cement. You will write a buttery smooth fine line with an upgraded steel 9556 nib. 11cm capped.

6052 Pelikan Souveran M1000 Filling Mechanism:
Piston FillerEra:
1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
MPrice:
$549.99SOLD!One of those great objects of desire, our Pelikan Souveran M1000 is a phenomenal fountain pen. A must for many collectors of oversized pens, this is the classic black cap and green barrel stunner. It has a good clear barrel that lets you know how full the tank is. The piston filler works smoothly. It was one well-cared-for preowned luxury pen. Light to minimal traces of wear. Pelikan marks the two-tone 18k gold nib as a fine, but, as with most German pens, we find it writes more like a medium. The top black jewel sports a mama pelican with a single chick in a matte gold paint. It comes with its original box. Click the headline for close-ups. 14.6cm capped.

5982 Parker Ellipse Filling Mechanism:
Cartridge/ConverterEra:
1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
XFPrice:
$125.00Designers got especially creative when they made the Parker Ellipse fountain pen. We really like the almost futuristic look of the red pen that looks more coppery under bright lights. We think they only made this pen for about 2 years. Our pen shows a little wear from daily use. Click the headline for close-ups. These 18k gold nibs are a little tricky. We find that this nib gets a little scratchy and barely eeks out an extra-fine line general attempts at writing. BUT, it gets a touch flexi for some nice line variation from extra-fine to about .75mm wide. Just be careful not to spring the nib with too much pressure. Comes with a Parker converter. 14.5cm capped.

6066 Sheaffer Balance Millennium Filling Mechanism:
Cartridge/ConverterEra:
1980-present Fountain Pen Nib Size:
MPrice:
$175.00SOLD!Flecks of sapphire blue blaze forth as you rotate this mostly black Sheaffer Balance Millennium fountain pen in the light. Based on the Sheaffer Balance of the 1930s, this is actually a modern pen from the turn of our current century...from when nearly everything had to have millennium written on it to commemorate the year 2000. The resurrection of the 1930s' two-tone gold "Feather-Touch" nib is a lovely touch. You will find this 18k gold beauty writes a buttery smooth medium line. Looking like new, we think this pen only was written with once or twice before it was put away. Includes a converter and its original boxes and papers. $99.99Shimmering blue-black looks like a mysterious smoke on this Visconti Pericle fountain pen. This preowned pen also has a cap fashioned after an ancient Greek war helmet. That's a lot of great design packed into an affordable writing instrument. You will write a nice medium line for a steel nib. Light wear can be seen on the pen, but it is nothing serious and definitely not something that can be seen by anyone joining you in a meeting or at a coffee shop. 14.2cm capped.
