Sheaffer PFM V pencils were the pinnacle of the line. One of the rarest colors of PFMs is gray. Our vintage pencil has the bonus of being ALMOST New Old Stock. Nevertheless the pencil shows little more than shop wear and works great. 13cm.

Enjoy this taste of burgundy with our premium reserve New Old Stock Sheaffer Special. This vintage pen and pencil set is new in the box with its original papers under the pad. There is a nib sticker indicating a medium point on the underside of the section, not photographed here. Amazingly, we tested this pen with water, and if feels and fills just like new. We didn't have to replace anything. This is the palladium silver nib marked M6. Click the headline for close-ups. The pencil is in great working order, too. We even think there is still some life left in its original blue eraser!

Sheaffer Titans were the company's flagship oversized pencils of the 1920s. Our vintage pencil is in great working order. Twist the tail topper to advance and retract the 1.1mm lead. It comes with spare leads and a hardened eraser. There's a little knick in the top of the cap and some wear to the clip and nose cone...but not especially damning. The celluloid barrel looks pretty good with only a trace of discoloring. 13.5cm.

Sheaffer's first real hit in the post-Golden Age of pens came in the 1970s with the Sheaffer Targa. Its design screams 1970s and '80s. Bold, modern, a cylindrical body squared off on the top and bottom. Our pen has a matte-black finish with gold plated trim. An excellent rollerball pen, its refill is a real tanker. There is an old refill in it now, but we have just ordered some new ones, which we will include with it, as soon as they arrive. Minimal, if any, wear. 13.7cm capped.

So sleek, the Sheaffer Balance pencil looks as if it going 100 mph while just sitting on your desk. The classic golden brown striation design adds some masculine elegance with the gold-plated trim. Twist the tail cap to the left or right to retract or extend the 1.1mm lead. Under the tail cap is a hardened original eraser and spare lead. Only light wear from use. Guaranteed to make math, crosswords, sudoku and other puzzles more fun. 13.4cm.

Looking for a great vintage pencil that looks nice but won't make you feel guilty about ruining a museum piece? Check out our Sheaffer CB that is unstickered. Without any dents or deep scratches, it still shows some surface wear from use. Happily, this vintage pencil still works perfectly with a twist of the tail knob. Ever wonder what it would be like to walk into an old stationary shop or jewelry store where they sold pens and pencils in the 1920s? Our Sheaffer CB might give you a small taste, as it is still stickered and from a jewelry store that closed in the 1920s! No doubt they intended to sell it and then engrave it. This gold-filled pencil still works and looks brand new, aside from a hint of shop wear, which is pretty amazing for a 100-year-old pencil. Twist the top crown to advance and retract a 1.1mm lead. Pull out the crown to reveal a hardened, unused, original eraser with spare leads beneath it. 12.9cm.

Oversized Sheaffer Titan pencils seem common on this site, but they are rather uncommon in the wild. Here is a beautiful jade model that is in great working order. It has some scratches on the nose cone, light wear on the barrel and minimal wear on the topper. Maybe a touch of brassing on the pocket clip. The topper does not seem to want to separate from its inner mechanism, which is okay, given there doesn't sound as if there are any spare leads within. Twist the topper to advance and retract the 1.1mm lead that is already loaded into the pencil. 13.4cm.
